Welcome to my new site! I figured it was time to move away from blogger and get a real website all my own! I don’t plan on doing anything new or exceptionally special with this site, just more antics from my life as a reenactor. Feel free to click around, the pictures in the header are clickable, but I haven’t finished construction yet, so please don’t mind the dust!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and I hope all of you out there in blogland have a great and filling day (that is if you are from the US!).

I have a lot to be thankful for this year, but I am most thankful for having found this hobby of reenacting. It is a true joy in my life, and the memories my family and I are creating are worth every dollar we have spent ten-fold (at the very least).

I am also very thankful for the 2,632 of you that have visited my blog 4,050 times since early March when I really started posting to this crazy thing!

And I am thankful that my blog was of some use to those that found my blog through various search engines 1,623 times over the year.

I am also very thankful for the comments that have been left for me, it brightens my day to see your reactions to my posts.

Now go on out and count your RevWar blessings and Party Like It’s 1621!!

The New Year

Well 2007 went out and 2008 has already come in. I started this blog last year, but didn’t update it all, you will see some posts below that should be updated for all the events we had in 2007. I tried my best to outline some of the things we bought and needed for the year. There were quite a few things we did without, but we still had a blast and are too excited for the 2008 season to get here!! I have begun to make a list of the things we will need to make or buy for ourselves. I don’t want to go overboard this year either, but since we needed EVERYTHING last year, it will be nice to just add to what we already have while spending, hopefully, less. I would also like to do some more reasearch this year and really work on becoming a more accurate potrayal. I don’t think I will be able to do everything since I don’t have that much to spend this year, but it will be good to learn more about the era and the people that lived during that time. So here’s to 2008! The next few posts are things that have already happened, and hopefully I will be a little better about keeping this thing updated!
